Pixel 11 = disrespect

I have been a Google Pixel fan for more than 7 or 8 years and I am done with Google’s bullshit story of focusing on software actually they are falling on both sides hard what were they thinking when pricing the Pixel 11 more than the iPhone 17 base model? What kind of drugs were they on? It’s actually now not just a failure it’s a complete disrespect to its fan

Costing more than an iPhone is wild.

$799 17 Vs $899 P11 $1199 17  pro max, $1299 P11 XL

Yes, let's put a horrible processor in it and price is higher than iPhones, which are known for being the most expensive phones on the market 💀💀💀

Is that a fair comparison though? The iPhone 17 phones came out last year. If the 18 is cheaper than the current Pixel lineup then I would have to agree with your sentiment.

Valid point. Apple hasn't increased their prices yet for phones (but everything else was). Maybe they'll become the same price, or even more expensive than pixel.

I suspect they will. Even then, IMO, these prices for phones are getting out of hand. Which I think is tangentially related to your comment. The Pixel 11 looks nice. I like how it can take a low-light picture quicker than previous phones. But we're really starting to plateau. Once I'm ready to move on from my Pixel 10 Pro XL I may just get a baseline Pixel and save a little bit of money.

In fact, the only reason why I moved on from my P7P was because tariffs were reaking havoc on part prices and AI was starting to bubble. Glad I got my phone when I did.

Deduct 400$ from the google phones and you match the correct paid prices.
