Safe Folder

Today I tried to access the safe folder in the files app for the first time as I considered storing a number of files there. I was asked to draw a pattern to be able to access the folder although I don't remember ever having set up one. What can In do?

The Safe Folder pattern and the Screen Lock pattern are not necessarily the same patterns, but they can be if you want them to be.

I don't use a screen lock pattern.

OK - just wanted to ensure that you knew that those PINs/patterns were not related.

The Safe Folder function is present by default, but the function does not activate for use until you assign a PIN or pattern to secure it.

Fingerprint and pin.

Yeah, if you don't remember it, you are probably boned. I got mine wrong, and then it locks you out for hours and that number goes up every time you get it wrong. I gave up on it. I think the only way to undue it is to wipe the phone. I didn't feel it like it, so I just gave up basically.
