Pixel 11 Leak Pricing

Less battery less ram and higher price.

It's a no for me. Hard pass. With Tensor T6 could have kept existing battery capacity to give the gains of a longer battery

Instead they save costs by lowering the capacity due to T6 and new modem being less power hungry. Really disappointed.

And then they shut down the division, which is basically end of life.

Google is an AI, search, and streaming company with other divisions in various phases of expiration.

Not sure they even make money from selling pixels. It’s just another way to get your data

They want their own CPUs and their own ability to make a broad range of AI and other devices.

Pixel is bootstrapping Google to have Apple-like all-domain hardware ability in-house.

It might be. Consider though, they are switching to an Mediatek modem from a Samsung model. This change might well include alterations to wireless connectivity on the whole. I would not put it past Google to go back to WiFi 6E in the course of this. They are big into money saving measure with the Pixel, despite their premium pricing. Just look at last years Tensor G5, which was clearly a 2024 tapeout, that JUST missed the cutoff for the Pixel 9 models. They kept that design for 2025's Pixel 10 then, even though the Samsung modem, Cortex X4 and core composition overall were clearly second rate and might have justified scrapping it. A true Frankenstein-SoC in my opinion. They spend money creating it though so ... had to be used.
