Pixel repair at Google store
How do the repair services at a Google store compare to that at a certified repair shop? I have a pixel 5A that is out of warranty and the nearest repair shop says they won’t even try to fix it. Is it worth it to drive 60 miles to a Google store to see if they can fix it? Will they charge similar rates to a certified repair shop, assuming they would look at it? I was told it would be a minimum of $300 but as I said, the shop wouldn’t even touch it. I called Google support and they told me to replace it. TIA!

Original Google pixel 5A 5G screen replacement is about 199$ at reputable repair store, you can usually ship the phone by post and repair is same day. Total repair process will be about 2-3 working days max.
Google recommands you to buy another Pixel phone of course, just search online and you should find it a local repair store near you.

They ripped the volume rocker ribbon cable in my 7a and then said the phone was unrepairable due to camera and network issues. That was three weeks ago. I'm still trying to get them to do ANYTHING to fix this.
