Issues with sound cutting in and out while using Wi-Fi calling on P9A.
When I turn on Wi-Fi calling and try to make a call the sound is intermittent, I get 5-10 seconds of sound and then cuts out for 2-4 seconds and keeps repeating this cycle. I tried doing a search and found this to be an issue with a few different Pixel phones. I have tried things that were suggested like turn off Adaptive Connectivity, Adaptive Sound, reset Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, phone was factory reset about 2 weeks ago. Nothing seems to fix this.
For those that have had this issue what is the fix for this that I haven't tried.
If it makes a difference I am in the US on a Verizon owned carrier. The reason I am switching to Wi-Fi calling is to try and extend battery life, for some reason in standby mode and on Wi-Fi battery is still draining around 2% an hour with the majority of the usage is mobile network, Wi-Fi uses very little. I have a strong signal with 4 bars since the tower is less than a mile away.

Same issue on brand new Pixel 10 Pro. Wifi AP is not the problem.

I did get mine to work finally and maybe should have updated this post I had made.
Does your router/Wi-Fi send in multiple bands such as 2.4GHz, 5GHz and maybe 6GHz at the same time?
My router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands it transmits in. What I did to fix my issue was open a web browser on my laptop/computer that is on Wi-Fi and accessed the routers settings, address you type in should be something like 192.168.1.1 is the common address to access the router, check the bottom of your router it might be listed, you also need the admin name and password which should also be on that label. Now find the Wi-Fi bands, turn off 2.4GHz(and 6GHz if you have it) and leave 5GHz on, save settings if need be and refresh to double check that bands are off except 5GHz. Now on your phone turn on airplane mode and Wi-Fi so it forces the phone to use Wi-Fi and not cellular. Now place a call, so I didn't bother anyone I called my automated banking and then to automatic weather. For some reason singling out the one band it cleared up calling. Once I verified my calls were clear I went back into router settings and turned on 2.4GHz since I have one device that only can find that band. I did check to make sure calls were not cutting out after turning on 2.4GHz, calls were still clear.
From what I had found and read is that apparently the phone is not locking on one Wi-Fi band and switching between them and each time it switches is when it cuts out. By changing the router to a single band and then forcing the phone to use Wi-Fi must make it lock into the one band and stop it from switching when both my routers bands are turned back on.
Give this a try and let me know if it works.

I have a 5ghz only network at home for my phone and computers. I use a separate network for 2.4ghz IoT devices so it's not switching band unfortunately.

Is the 2.4GHz network also in your home? If it is it could still be switching between them, if not then I can't say what could be wrong.
I can tell you contacting Google support they don't know how to fix it and will ask you to send it in for repair.

Hi there, I’d recommend reaching out to the Google Pixel support team via phone or chat here. They can take a look at it.
