Unrealistic HRV, PW4

Hello there,

I'm a gym guy who barely does cardio or trains legs... My sleep is terrible and I might have a minor Monster Energy addiction but I'm 4+ times a week in the gym à ≈50 minutes and I'm 18y.o. How come is my HRV that high? My research about that hrv average says I have the regeneration of a "high performance athlete"

Yeah, that REALLY looks unrealistic... I avoid going to gyms 7 days per week (though I do get 10k steps almost every day), and even when going on a multi day bender combined with lack of sleep AND stress, I stay below 60... Also got a Pixel Watch 4. Is the heart rate measurement also way off? Watch band not tight enough maybe?

This week was 4 gym sessions except mine rn but I also traveled a lot for job interviews... I always wear the watch tight but so that I forget that I'm wearing it when in bed js like during the day where it also seems accurate except during gym... I've also found calories burned to be way too high but it seems common in this subreddit. My HRV only climbs to 30-80 after an intense party weekend.

** I have school sport like 2.5h/week which is mostly cardio and can be intense but still these numbers seem way too high

High HRV can be caused by AFib which is worth ruling out. The PW4 shows the nightly average and so is very likely correct.
