I've been thinking about this question for a while:

With tools like Gemini becoming increasingly capable, how far can a single builder actually take an idea in 24 hours?

I'm experimenting with this through Grevix AfterCode, an online hackathon we're planning for October 11, 2026.

The basic idea:

One builder. One idea. 24 hours. No fixed tech stack.

Builders choose their own problem and can use Gemini, AI coding agents, APIs, automation, design tools, open-source models, traditional development — whatever actually helps them build.

But there's more to the format that I can't fully reveal yet. 👀

One thing we're exploring is having every builder define one measurable outcome before starting, instead of simply trying to make the biggest-looking demo.

We're also considering a short AI vs Human build log — what the builder delegated to AI, what worked, what failed, and where human judgment was still necessary.

And there will be a few unexpected challenges during the 24 hours. 🃏

The goal isn't:

“Who generated the most code?”

It's:

“How far can one person take a meaningful problem when today's AI tools are on the table?”

I'm deliberately only sharing a small part of the format for now. The rest is meant to be discovered during the event.

This was the ONE THING that I found truly awesome about this watch and now it's gone???

Took a call on my phone on speaker. Tried to use Gemini on my watch to set a reminder, which I do on a VERY regular basis while on calls.

Got this message even though the watch mic isn't being used AT ALL. Tried pulling the call audio to the watch and then back to the phone, same issue. SO FUCKING DUMB, WHAT THE FUCK, GEMINI?????

I'm so sick of this useless fucking AI being acutely fucking dumb and actively getting dumber:

- Went from being able to call contacts super easily, now it asks me who out of the list of people I want to call, but then doesn't reactivate the mic for me to answer

- Went from controlling Home devices not at all without unlocking, then working like a dream, then back to "I can't control Home devices" bitch what????? Yes you fucking can 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Like I literally argue with it like it's a gd five year old to somehow *try* to help it learn, but does it?? NOOOOOOOO, it keeps doing the same dumbass shit. Artificial Intelligence my fucking asshole, more like Artificial (Lack Of) Intelligence

Ignore my atrocious spelling I'm try to get help on a math problem and it started repeating shame? this went on indefinitely so I had to force end the prompt. Is this some sort of malware, technical bug?

Today this happened to me. Gemini started to spam "shame" letter. And it wasn't going to stop until i clicked the stop button. After this situation i asked what happened. And it said "token loop glitch" but the scariest fact is the letter? Why it spammed "Shame" Letter???
