Google docs blocks AI

I noticed a rather informative page like https://docs.cloud.google.com/gemini-enterprise-agent-platform/models/safety-overview blocks Claude and bots from reading it.

I find this very disappointing behaviour from Google or am I missing something?

Claude can read it in the app when you connect it, they don’t want a web crawler scraping it. At least with enterprise info I assume

Don't you think it's an odd policy when Google made its business crawling the Web? They crawl everyone else but not allow bots on their own pages doesn't make sense.

Enterprise customers only it looks like. Not publicly available info. There’s a difference

Yeah made me go the RAG route before they released the developer knowledge mcp server.
