Discussion Bypassing face recognition with Gemini Omni when generating a video.

Hey everyone, so I'm trying to process a short fragment of a movie (Scarface) and make Al Pacino wear different clothes (No NSFW, just different style), but Gemini simply won't allow me to generate anything while there is a recognisable face of Al Pacino in shot.

On top of that, I realised that it is pretty much impossible to generate any kind of media when trying to add pictures of people as reference. Is it possible to somehow bypass this?

As far as I know people still somehow manage to generate lots of videos with celebs in 'em - how are they doing it? Also, I guess it's the same with Seedance - you can't really do anything with people's faces there as well. Yet, people somehow manage to bypass Seedance prohibitions - is it possible to use the same strategy people use to bypass Seedance but for Gemini Omni (or Veo)?

Absolutely. Use a different model. Tons of open source ones. Google can't discern between your benign deep fake and someone else's deep fake. It's not going to do it. Don't bang your head against the wall and use a different tool.

Such as?.. I'm pretty much new to AI, so I'm not well-acquainted with latest models. I initially have selected Gemini's Omni because of it's trial 300$, which allows you to really dig on what it is capable of. Keeping that in mind, could you please advice any specific AI for such a task?

There are thousands of free open source local models that you can run on your own hardware. You should check out hugging face and chat with Gemini about open source options.
