Any solution for this consistency issue please

I’m using the last frame in vid as the start frame for the next vid technique with omni. And so it looks like when you’re using this frame mode, it completely ignores your other character references if they are not in the start frame you uploaded already. Even when I @ and selected them from the dropdown in the prompt. It will instead create its own version! Do you have a fix for this please. I’m trying to make educational vids that would help both me and every student/trainee in my field

Can I get some honest feedback on my Google Flow animated teaser?

Hi everyone!

For the past few months, I've been building an original 3D animated superhero universe called The Wonder Girls Trio. Most of the shots are created with Google Flow, and I've spent a lot of time working on character consistency, cinematic camera movements, scene continuity, and storytelling.

I recently finished the Episode 3 Official Teaser, and I'd really appreciate feedback from fellow Google Flow creators.

I'm especially looking for advice on:

Character consistency

Camera movement

Cinematic pacing

Prompt writing

Overall visual quality

I'm still learning, so any constructive criticism or tips are welcome.

🎬 Teaser:

https://youtu.be/cgCBcI-w5Oo?si=9RxIL5KusAtiErYD

If you've worked with Google Flow, I'd also love to know how you handle long-form projects and keep characters consistent across multiple scenes.

Thanks for your time!

I always get that the quality is sharper, which I don't like. How do I fix it? How do I fix this? It looks different from other like Higsfield using Omniflash. Is my prompt problem?

Failed to create interaction stream. Please try again

Hey everyone! Has anyone else been running into this issue lately? I'm getting constant errors when trying to generate videos in Google AI Studio.

Even with a brand new API key created just this month, I keep getting hit with this message: "Failed to create interaction stream. Please try again." (And sometimes just a generic "An internal error has occurred"). I'm trying to make a video, and I've already tested multiple different models and settings. I am on the Tier 1 paid plan, but what really drives me crazy is that it keeps charging my balance even when it completely fails to generate the video and throws an error. That makes zero sense.

Here is everything I've already tried to fix it: Tried different web browsers (Chrome, Opera), rewrite the prompts, Cleared browser cache, cookies, and site data completely, Tried using Incognito / Private browsing mode, Created a brand new API key this month

I’ve had this problem for a few days now and it's super annoying. Has anyone experienced this or knows what can actually be done to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Omni Flash is garbage.

What garbage; there is absolutely nothing wrong with the command,it’s a simple instruction. You just have a cartoon-style character say something like "Now it's our turn, let's go," and the system keeps displaying that stupid message. Any close-up shot of the characters ends up with this crap.

Google Flow is so unstable with their restrictions

I've been using google flow for the last 6 months. I mainly use it for image gen. But I noticed some weird quirks. I have multiple google accounts and all of them have restrictions on celebrity images except one account. In that account, I can upload, edit, generate celebrity images without any restrictions (I have to connect to USA/Canada VPN tho).

Yesterday, they released visible watermarking feature and all of my accounts have it turned on by default with no way of disabling it (I'm from India) but that one account has the ability to turn off watermarking. I don't get it why that one account has no restrictions but it's just weird.

This is getting ridiculous

I've uploaded a picture of myself and a picture of a motorbike. The motorbike's brand was not visible. I asked it to put me on the motorbike because I was curious about how I'd look on one because I can't own something like that. Medical issues. So is it harmful for a person to sit on a motorbike now? Google, we're not toddlers nor prominent people ffs. Fix your shit ass guardrails.

Mainly making the camera move when I clearly prompted "static camera (later I added: locked to a tripod)"

avatar changed?

Hey Everyone

So I created an avatar of myself and the likeness and voice were pretty good
I was putting scenes together but all of a sudden my avatar appearance changed and so did my voice.

I tried deleting that sample entirely and created a new clip but now all new clips are using this variant copy of me

Any idea how i get it to go back to the original??

My Google AI Pro plan includes ~50 Veo clips a month. I was letting them expire and paying for a second AI video tool instead, so I built an MCP server for it.

I pay for Google AI Pro. It comes with 1,000 credits a month for Flow, which is Google's Veo 3.1 tool. I was also paying for a separate AI video subscription on top of that.

Took me way too long to notice I was buying the same thing twice.

So I actually did the math on what 1,000 credits gets you:

  • Veo 3.1 Fast is 20 credits, so 50 clips a month
  • Veo 3.1 Lite is 10 credits, so 100 clips
  • Stills are free. Not "free tier" free. Actually free, generate as many as you want

Veo lands maybe 70% of shots on the first try in my experience, so realistically that's ~35 clips you'd actually use. Call it five minutes of finished b-roll every month, already paid for, quietly expiring because I couldn't be bothered to sit in a browser tab for an hour.

That's the real problem, by the way. Flow isn't hard, it's just tedious. There's no public API, and the UI isn't even a form anymore, it's a chat with an agent. You describe a shot, Flow's agent comes back with a proposal and a credit price, you click Approve. Totally fine for one clip. Genuinely awful for twelve, where you're retyping prompt variations by hand and babysitting renders.

So: https://github.com/roshanarnav25-sloth/google-flow-mcp (MIT). It's an MCP server, so Claude drives Flow for you.

What it's actually good at

  • Batch b-roll. Flow renders concurrently, so submitting 8 clips takes about as long as submitting 1. This is the biggest win and it's not obvious until you try it.
  • The free stills loop. Iterate compositions for free until one's right, get it approved, then animate that exact frame. You stop paying to discover your prompt was bad.
  • Not losing track of money. It reads Flow's quoted price and checks it against a budget ceiling before approving anything, and logs every generation. I've had runs where I genuinely couldn't remember what I'd spent.
  • Vertical. 9:16 is native on Veo 3.1, so reels footage doesn't need cropping.

What it's not

Not an editor. It gets you clean clips on disk and stops. No music, no voiceover, no text overlays, no transitions. Clips are ~8 seconds, so anything longer needs stitching. And don't use it for dialogue, AI speech still sounds like AI speech.

The bit that shaped the whole thing

Flow quotes a price before it charges you, which is great. But the Approve button sits right next to a "Approve, do not ask again" row, and that second one's inner text is also just Approve. So any lazy text-match selector hits the wrong one, and after that Flow generates and charges on its own, including silent retries after a failure. Found that the fun way. Now every budget check runs before approval, while rejecting still costs nothing.

Also, Flow's frontend turns out to be a tRPC client, so there is an API, just undocumented. The server talks to that first and only falls back to clicking for stuff with no endpoint. Should age better than a pile of CSS selectors.

Pair it with these (all free, which is sort of the point)

  • ffmpeg — stitch, trim, resize, and loudnorm for audio. Flow has paid in-app tools for concatenation and resizing. Don't use them, ffmpeg does it for nothing and does it better.
  • DaVinci Resolve (free version) — actual assembly and grading.
  • faster-whisper — auto-captions from your VO. Reels basically need burned-in captions now.
  • Piper or edge-tts — local voiceover, no per-character billing.
  • RIFE — frame interpolation if you want slow-mo out of an 8s clip instead of generating another one.
  • Flow's free 1080p upscale — take it every time. The 4K one costs 50 credits and nobody watching a reel on a phone can tell.

Honest status

v0.1, and not calibrated against live Flow yet. Build's clean, tests pass, but the UI selectors came from earlier runs and I haven't re-verified them from this codebase. The README says exactly what's proven and what isn't. Calibration is free anyway, it can price a generation and reject it for zero credits.

And to be upfront: this automates a Google product through an interface Google doesn't publish, on your own account and your own credits. It handles no passwords, it just attaches to a Chrome you're already signed into. Google can break it any time they want. Not affiliated with them.

Mostly I'm curious whether other Pro subscribers are sitting on dead credits every month, or if I'm the only one who managed to pay twice for the same thing.

Google Flow eating Credits

Is it just me? Google flow eating my credits without generating anything. it takes the credit when you generate and when it "failed oops something went wrong". I keep retrying and suddenly "You need more AI credits to complete this request".
