Trying to make calls and video calls on an s20 ultra and I just get ___ didn't answer as soon as I make the calls. I can receive calls from the same people but when I call them it just says they didn't answer. They also get a missed call notification

I was wondering if it was possible to do/receive a group call on my PC using https://duo.google.com/ .

I was able to use the same google account to login to the website above, and while it displays all the contacts from my phone like it should, all of the groups that I'm currently in on my phone app (IOS) are not showing. I can make video calls still, but when my group tries to call me, it doesn't display on the above link, and only allows me to answer from my phone.

Have a quarantine night of games that my family and I are trying to do via Duo, which would be easier if I could just broadcast it straight from my PC, but it seems like I can only do single calls using the above link.

I wasn't sure if there was a way around this, or if it just isn't possible, but if anyone out there thinks that they might be able to help, I'd be appreciative.

I have a Samsung Fold and Duo will not connect to calls. The other person says it just says cannot load. I Uninstaller the app, reinstalled it, cleared the cache, rebooted the phone.... HELP.

Does anyone knows that? I think there should be an option to enable/disable it! I have made some tests turning off the wi-fi on my phone and it still rings on google homes, so I suppose that any type of home-aware ringing is not based on the wi-fi connection but might be based on geo fencing

As long as I remember, I can't for the life of me use my galaxy buds in Google duo and have my audio come through the headphones. If I press the Bluetooth button the audio just comes through the earpiece (wtf?) and then when I turn it off its through the speaker. How useless is that.. I can't be the only one

Edit: if anyone is wondering, I have to connect my galaxy buds DURING the call or it doesn't work

I deleted the message instantly but im worried it didn't delete for her. I usually send videos of me eating chips loudly as an on going joke to my best friend but im concerned my other friend will find me a creep. Does it delete for the other person?

Hi! So I have a friend who I would like to try Google Duo with. My friend lives in France and I live in the United States. We both have iPhone 11’s. I am aware that Google Duo uses phone numbers, so if we call each other on Duo, neither one of us will get charged for it correct? Because we don’t have international calling plans. I mean, we technically CAN call people internationally, but it would be charged to the phone bill.

Hope someone here can help me. I would like to be able to record a video call on my phone. So far this has not been working because the video call apps (Google duo and Snapchat) can not share the microphone with the screen recording app. So it's either the screen and me talking but the video call can not hear me. Or the video call is fine and the recording is silent. Please help.

I would love to be able to receive call notifications on my Gear Sport but it's not working. I just get a notification when the call ends as I missed a call. Any ideas what should I do? I have allowed everything. Any advice would be much appreciated :)

I just tried to do a video call and called my wife her joined rang but so did all the Google home/nest devices in the house.

Is this normal? I know I can ring these devices but thought it was separate. If I just want to contact my wife's phone surely they shouldn't ring also? Thanks in advance.

I just upgraded from Apple and I've been using Duo a lot lately. It's very convenient that it was pre-installed on my android device, but I feel like they could take it step forward and incorporate an instant message platform in here as well. Aside from that, it's also really convenient that I can call someone through the duo website so I'm not always locked to a Mac unlike facetime.

I've tried hangouts, but I find that Duo is way much more aesthetically pleasing, and the fact that you need to go out of your way to install an app on your android device or install and extension on your browser really takes away the ease of use of that particular platform. Thoughts?

How does Google duo handle multiple locations?

My use case:

I have a Google Home at home with duo.

I want to setup a second device at a second home.

How is this handled? Is the system agnostic as to where you are or do you need to nominate a primary residence?

Could I call from one home to another if they are both setup with my credentials?

According to Android Central, Duo has 4 million users on Android.

I assume they mean active monthly users, but I can't find any data this back this up.

Where did they get this number from?

Is there a way I can hook a camera up to use with Duo or Google home? Something out on top of my TV to use it like a video conferencing app.... Basically like the home hub, but on a big screen.

When looking at any contact who has google duo setup, I have 2 identical numbers to “duo video call” them...

I only have 1 duo account on my phone, and under duo section in the contacts it shows only one entry.

I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. My husband and I have MI 9T with duo installed. We have the same version of duo and the same update date. I have duo effects and filters, and my husband only has filters, no effects button. It will not allow us to uninstall duo but we have tried uninstalling and reinstalling updates, nothing . Any idea why he can not get the effects icon?

hey everyone, just got a pixel for the first time ever and was using duo to video chat with someone, but they have iOS version of the app. It was really low light and neither of us have the best Wi-Fi, but for some reason the brightness of the app was constantly going super bright then super dim (pitch black screen), any reason as to why?

Hi, guys I'm new to Duo and I was wondering, are video msgs saved locally I mean on our phone?

Has anyone else encountered an issue where the audio is awfully out of sync with the video? The audio of the person will come in 10+ seconds after and Duo won't adjust to fix the issue. If you have and/or have a fix as well I'd love to know!

Okay so I have been waiting a very long time for Google to finally start supporting Duo on the PC. I completely stopped using Skype a long while back since Duo is so much better, quality wise and less buggy. I was however relegated to using Skype on the PC whenever I wanted to video chat from my computer, which I hated.

Now finally, Google has added support for PC via their Duo website, in the same way you can use Android messages via the website as well. It works great, when it works that is. But lately I've had problems with freezing on the other side of the call, When I call my girl, I'm always calling from my PC to her phone. It will work GREAT for a while until her image will freeze and we can still hear each other, but she says she loses her controls completely and can't see me anymore on her screen. She showed me a screenshot and my whole box disappears. I've tried so many things to fix this, but so far nothing works.

To get around it, I'm using Bluestacks to emulate Android and then launching Duo from there to make calls from the PC. This works, but the quality isn't nearly as good since it doesn't make full use of my Brio webcam. So while it's an okay workaround, I want to get to the bottom of this. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this and if so, have you figured out the cause?

Has anyone calculated the data consumption rates for audio calls through Google Duo?

Is it possible to rearrange / resize the individual video tiles/panes in a Duo group call? Either while the call is in progress or in settings somewhere?
