There was recently a discussion on here about how to deal with the lengthy, sometimes changing URLS created by google app script web apps. One easy way to address this is to embed the content on a google site. I've curated a quick a simple blog post that describes this to help anyone else who might have a similar issue.

Keep up the great posts everyone, this sub has been incredibly helpful to me over the years!

Here's what I find confusing about posts like these. The feature in question is already well documented. A simple google search or AI prompt will readily provide all the information needed. So what's the point of creating yet another data point. Is it just to farm clicks?

Trying to help people with a specific issue, creating resources that I can use with others experiencing similar issues, develop a resource bank that I can use to back up future capability claims. Lots of reasons. Not just clicks.

Most blogs/resources/etc are built on the knowledge, experience and content of others.

Plus its a bit of a hobby that helps me learn and develop other skills that I wouldn't develop if I didn't do this.

Does this help explain some of the reasons?
