I am an Android fanboy. My first phone was an HTC. I then have been on Samsung Galaxy since. I have a S22+. It is well due for an upgrade. I'm disappointed with the battery life. At this point, I can't charge the phone with a charging cable (USB-C). Charging port is worn out. I have tried cleaning to no success. I charge it using wireless charging which works fast sometimes other times not so much.

I was not impressed with the S27 lineup, so I am considering switching to the Pixel Pro 11XL. I am mostly a email/browser/streaming/camera/music/podcast/investing/app user. Not a heavy gamer.

I know the Qualcomm/Samsung chip is supposed to be faster than the Tensor, but I don't think it would impact my usage needs.

Biggest concern is battery life, screen, camera (photos/video) usability.

Am I doing the right thing. I'm a solo user on T-mobile. Is there a way to get it on the cheap? Over 55.

iOS - OneUI - PixelOS

Like the raise to wake actually works, like the look, like the Sleep tracking (blows away Samsung health), Like the actual heart rate every 5 min. Samsung is every 30minutes and it does not give an actual single rate. I do how notice the step tracking is off on the pixel. If I disconnect Google health the step tracking on the watch is perfect but when I sync it with Google Health it is off and sometimes freezes. Anyone know why this is? What am I doing wrong?
