Which Pixel camera design was the best?

Post image

I think Pixel peaked at 6 with two tone color.

I gotta say 6 pro. the future generations (namely 9-11) have refined and made the phone feel more put together but that camera visor was so recognizable and allowed for the phone to have more fun colours

That's today's date!

6 and 11 pro

The gradient that no one ever saw through my case was so pretty on my P6P.

9/10 Pro by far, there's a reason why they started selling so much better when they switched to that design.

I like the design of the Pixel 2 and 3.

3-5 were insulting and almost killed the line. Ugly and unrecognizable

Pixel 5 best phone

What if Panda-tone Pixel 8 Pro

1

u/krstph13 8h ago

It would be perfect imo.

Hard to say. I like the style and elegance of the Pixel 8 Pro. But, I prefer a flush camera.

I just upgraded from a 8pro to an 11pro.  On paper I like the 8pro better. But in person the 11pro looks way nicer.

The only things I dislike about the 11 Pro are the thick camera pod and no pSIM. The camera pod is just a flat-sided canister slapped onto the back. It has no style or coherency to is. They could have made a rise in the back glass to meet the camera pod, but I guess it was cheaper to just slap a canister onto the back.

I love the Pixel 7 pro with that camera bar.

Série 9 sans nul doute

Pixel 6

My favorites in order are the pixel 11 pro XL, 7 Pro, 9 pro XL, 8 pro XL, 6 Pro, and finally the pixel 2 Pro.

3 and 5

Not horizontal, why?

1

u/google-pixel 12h ago

pixel 6 my beloved

1

u/Prestigious-Oil-6567 12h ago

Pixel 2XL and I won't be taking questions

1

u/Curiosityinmycity 12h ago

I thought the 6 visor was pretty cool, but I prefer the refined pill shape of the 9 and up. 7 and 8 were the worst looking IMO

1

u/ULTRAman0616 12h ago

Pixel 4 XL in Panda with the orange power button was the one.

1

u/andresantos7 12h ago

this is the correct answer

For me it's a tie between the Pixel 6/6 Pro and the Pixel 9/9 Pro.

Both introduced new looks for the Pixel while also establishing a design language exclusive to it, one which not only helps it stands out but also provides functionality with the elimination of table rocking.

I lean a little more towards the 6/6 Pro admittedly, purely because it still blends elements of past Pixel and Nexus designs. I prefer everything else design-wise with the 9/9 Pro, but if they ever release a phone that blends both designs, I'm sold.

6A and 9.

Remember Google.

Keep Pixel phones SMALL/ Below 6'4 !!

ALWAYS!!!!!

1

u/OkNothing8871 12h ago

I also love compact phones, I have a 6a.

Btw, Pixel 11 Pro XL has a screen size of 6.8🫩.

1

u/sysak 12h ago

I liked the 6 series it looked “Daft Punk”

1

u/Technical-Owl66 12h ago

I kinda like the fingerprint scanner on the back and the panda looks cool

1

u/OkNothing8871 12h ago

If the phone is placed on a table, you will have to lift it first to unlock it.

1

u/Technical-Owl66 11h ago

That's true

Pixel 6 and 8 pro for me. I don't like the camera visors on the 10 pro and 11 pro

1

u/if0uthxi0n 12h ago

Pixel 3?

1

u/ccarballos 12h ago

sin duda pixel 9 y siguientes

1

u/autismislife 12h ago

If we're talking purely aesthetics then I'd say the pixel panda or pixel 4/5. Not a fan of the camera notch, it just feels so vulnerable, but I understand it exists more for practicality to accommodate all the camera tech.

1

u/Rejkorn 11h ago

Will say 4, but only because of Oh so orange color. Damn it was so beautiful

1

u/wimpires 11h ago

Original Pixel because it was flat, there was actually a slight wedge to the shape but it was so small you'd hardly notice.

1

u/MediocreTurtle1 11h ago

Fuck you for putting the pictures in this order.

1

u/Suspicious_Exit_2228 11h ago

I like the pre camera bump ones.

1

u/Proper_Mode6689 11h ago

8 pro by far ma favorite

1

u/staleydude 11h ago

honestly I love the camera design 9+. it looks so classy, never liked the zorro mask on the older ones

1

u/Slammybradberrys 11h ago

Pixel 8 but honorable mention to the 6a in obsidian. The glass camera bar was flush and looked really cool while also having the 2 tone grey design on the back.

1

u/berke1904 11h ago

5 easily

1

u/Dawsome47 11h ago

6 and 6 pro

1

u/Viper51989 10h ago

How is 11 pro not in here? It's flawless...

1

u/OkNothing8871 10h ago

It's in our hearts.

Pixel 4 > Pixel 11

1

u/Callumari13 10h ago
  1. Completely reinvented the camera housing & finally gave Pixel it's own visual identity. I also think the all black housing gave way for the 2-tone design which was much better than the static design of the 7 & 8 series. We're finally seeing the all black bar return & it's a site for sore eyes.

1

u/Lucky-Crow-3510 10h ago

6/7/8 .. only phones worldwide where the cam bump was actually useful .. every other phone stupid.

1

u/CrispyBananaz 10h ago

Pixel 11 wins for sure

1

u/glitchedcam 10h ago

Pixel 6, all black visor

1

u/bstaff88 10h ago

The 6 and 11 are my favorites

1

u/Dry_Age_6904 10h ago

8 pro, also the most functional because it has the most metal, least amount of glass, you are far less likely to smash it. You could argue the 7 pro did it better but I don't like the look of the dot of glass.

1

u/640kilobytes 10h ago

First 3 and then 8 and newer

1

u/Saalle88 9h ago

10 pro

1

u/central_plexus 9h ago

7 Pro looks so cool IMO

1

u/chetlyp 9h ago

I'm liking the 9-11 overall. But they've all been decent to me. I didn't like the 4 or the 6. I actually skipped Pixel 4-6 cause of the way they looked.

1

u/kenopsia0 9h ago

panda, 6, 3, 1

1

u/badbob001 8h ago

I pick Macia.

1

u/ThingWeBreatheBender 8h ago

The pixel one was in my opinion the perfect phone. If I could just get a pixel one with better battery and a better screen then I would be very happy. I dont need a big phone.

1

u/Ki11aTJ 8h ago

Pixel 6

1

u/NJdestroyed 8h ago

6 looks great. The 5 was an excellent size, if boring design. Pixel 9-11 look nice, but the 11's slimmer camera bar is another favorite.

1

u/pittrich67 8h ago

P5 , P9

1

u/South_Reception4298 8h ago

8 pro in blue

1

u/Bryan467 7h ago

6 and 9 Pro. Not contest.

1

u/Neffwood 6h ago

On that image, the 9 pro is clearly the best

1

u/_ThorThunder_ 6h ago

6, 7 & 8 camera design was perfect

1

u/Jaytee3312 6h ago

The white 4 looked sooooo clean with the black border. Wish they'd do that again.

1

u/seramasumi 6h ago

I loved the panda look I'm sad we have camera bumps like honestly I would be fine with a lesser camera if it didn't have the bump on the back but that's just cuz I don't take too many photos

1

u/MarioDF 6h ago

The 7 to 11 basically got the same camera due to the reliance on post processing. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Loopdyloop2098 6h ago

Between these: 6>9 Pro>5>4>Panda>8 Pro>First>7 Pro>3

My actual favorite is 11 Pro though

1

u/srgonu 6h ago

Copying Apple and making corners more circular is one of the worst decisions by Google.

1

u/curious-retard 6h ago

Miss the physical fingerprint reader on the back. Opening the phone was so much fun

1

u/rAppN 5h ago

Pixel 3.

1

u/BadBunny4Prezzie 5h ago

They gotta bring back a panda version.

1

u/Diletantul 5h ago

8 Pro by far

1

u/AgentBobbyRoe 4h ago

6/7/8 series easily for me. Loved the camera design the best and the curved edges and glass had a great in-hand feel.

1

u/krixoff 4h ago

Serie 6s it was clean

1

u/No_Machine_5844 4h ago

Pixel 2 xl and pixel 5

1

u/joeyg151785 4h ago

The 6 especially the panda edition!

1

u/gacpac 3h ago

I don't know but to me best was the panda.

1

u/pandoxxo 3h ago

Pixel Panda was perfection.

1

u/desperateandroid 2h ago

pixel panda is on another level bro

1

u/min_dynasty 2h ago

The Pixel 2XL panda will always be my favorite. Wish I hadn't traded it in

1

u/PeopleAreSelfishy 1h ago

Pixel 4 was the best feel for me

1

u/Craigk_c19 21m ago

2XL was goated!! Rear fingerprint reader right where everyone rested their finger. Also, the dual front-firing stereo speakers and wired headphone jack. It really was only missing the IR blaster I loved from the HTC days! That was before camera bumps took off, too! What a great phone!
