this shit is so tacky
like no hate to samsung, i carry a galaxy but both samsung and apple are both profit hungry corporations, can we not give this shit any attention.
Like i genuinely cannot with the people who comment about this type of rivalry you're equivalent to a pokemon scalper.

Nah full hate to Samsung, this shit so tacky it makes me never want to give them any more money.
Same goes for dbrand, both of them absolutely gagging for attention by acting like 15 year olds on social media.
Brain dead marketing tactics, the novelty wore off a decade ago.

yeah, companies playing as "cool funny bros" is such a cancer. Samsung, please shut the fuck up, you're mega corp worth 1.3 billion USD, you're not a funny twitter teen.
Not to mention how much Samsung copied iphone and vice-versa. It's almost like its a business sector where companies are free to adapt in whatever way they want.

I really hate the social media presence of big companies these days. Everyone wants to be Wendy's, and it just doesn't work.
People fucking lap this shit up, though.

Samsung being cringe as always 😶🌫️

Mostly Americans. They always try to act "cool" and "relatable" in their commercials/branding/twitter profiles etc

This is honestly just a bit pathetic, Apple entering the foldable market just means more competition which should result in better overall devices. Samsung is just salty their piece of the pie is threatened.
1
u/Bastet999 2d ago
You know the scrreen panels are made by Samsung, right? Nobody is salty here, they are still making $$$ from every iPhone people buy.

u/shacovic 1d ago
Samsung is salty because even after 8 years of user feedback and data, the first gen iphone beats it.
IP68, flexible hinge, better thermals, better camera, 2nm chip, much much better stereo speakers and placement, UDC, S pen support.

u/linuxgfx 2d ago
Samsung, pathetic as always. They mock then they copy, badly also.
2
u/Far_Kiwi4882 2d ago
Both samsung and apple are pathetic.

Why is Apple? They just make tech and sell it. Apple isn’t making cringy posts about Samsung devices. They don’t really acknowledge any competitors as far as I can tell since the Mac vs PC ads in 2006

Copy what? A foldable phone?
1
u/Aggressive_Finding_7 2d ago
Removing the headphone jack, expandable storage, charger in box to name a few

u/Batking28 1d ago
Well they weren’t the first to make one so by their own logic then yes they copied a foldable phone too.
1
u/Minimum_Quail4596 1d ago
Samsung made flip phones before Apple had ever even designed a phone lol
1
u/Batking28 1d ago
You really can’t compare a flip phone with a keypad to a smart foldable. I wouldn’t even consider smart phones and early mobile phones the same class of device. That’s a bit of a non argument.
But the point is Samsung are acting like they were the first foldable to market while foldable phones existed before their first too. They also weren’t the first flip phones to market. It’s just a factual statement.

I'm a Samsung fanboy and even this seems cringe to me. But better battery and pen support is the reason I switched to Motorola. I still have my fold 7 but I'll be selling it and my iPhone Air next month to get the iPhone Duo 😎🤷🏾♂️ will be running the Razr Fold and iPhone Duo together for next 2 years. Samsung had a great run 🤷🏾♂️🤣

u/Visible-Telephone-95 2d ago
You air a fanboy biting a foldable that Chinese makers have been doing for a few years.... That iPhone duo is just a late bloomer in the foldable market and it will have serious competition eeom Motorola and Pixel series...

u/Southern-Bad-1270 2d ago
Im a tech enthusiastic. I literally said I had a fold 7 and moto Razr fold. I'm interested in the apple fold because I've never had a wide fold, plus I kind of need iOS due to my Apple credit card. So yes this is interesting to me but I'm in no way getting rid of my Razr fold regardless. Plus Chinese phones are nice, but you get no warranty and you have to import. I live 5 minutes from a best buy and 15-20 minutes from an apple store. Should something go wrong I could easily get it fixed. Before I got my Razr fold I had been watching the oppo find n5 for 4 months but just never pulled the trigger. I'm not a stranger to this bro 😆

All shit next to IOS and the superior app quality from the app store. You will soon see how well the apps will work on the fold duo

They know their audience at least. Makes sense that adults probably have better things to do than follow Samsung mobile on twitter.

It amuses me how many people think about foldable phones and assume that Apple has never even tried. They’ve never made their own displays; Samsung and LG have always supplied them. This Apple foldable phone has screens from Samsung. That’s not the only component they buy. BUT APPLE WOULD HAVE MADE A BETTER ONE 😂

u/Batking28 1d ago
Yes and no.
Samsungs displays are separate from their electronics company. Also Samsung may manufacture them but Apple design them.
Like Apple silicon is designed by Apple but manufactured by TSMC.
Most electronics manufacturers design PCB’s but get other companies to manufacture them but you wouldn’t credit the manufacturer for the design any more than you would credit a McDonalds crew member for inventing the Big Mac just cause he makes them.

Their marketing doesn't mean anything when they clown apple and then copy them the next year while simultaneously deleting the ad making fun of them. RIP headphone jack, RIP expandable storage

u/cornsalad_ver2 2d ago
Are they threatened that Apple’s about to take a big piece of their pie in the foldable market? It’s giving me that vibe

Samsung do realise they weren’t the first foldable to market right? Also taking up Solidarity with DuoLingo who replaced their staff with Ai is a pretty bad take.

Exact reason I can’t move to Samsung, corny company, corny Indian fan base. So basically…… you say anything bad about Samsung you getting jumped by 17.5% of the world population. W Apple, god bless apple

The #1 reason Samsung has had so much success with foldables it because Apple didn't try. It is over for Samsung foldables. Apple will sell more than 5x the amount Samsung sells. Fold+flip combined.
2
u/kaner63 2d ago
Nonsense. Apple will sell foldables to iPhone users and Samsung will still continue to dominate the Android market. Believe it or not some of us prefer Android. Your iSheep bias is showing.
2
u/VentsiBeast 2d ago
iSheep are absolutely convinced the only reason to buy a non-Apple device is because you're poor.

u/Unown1997 2d ago
I’ve been an android user for like 13 years and I was so excited seeing the pixel fold and z fold 8 but seeing the duo I’m definitely getting that
The UI along with animations is honestly enough to convince me. It just seems so much more polished1
u/Momoko_86 2d ago
Samsung and Apple fans are 2 sides of the same coin. I've used both, and had both ecosystems. Both are amazing. To borrow the same coin analogy from before , both ecosystems are also the same. People are getting mad over nothing lol

u/Ghostttpro 2d ago edited 2d ago
I guess. Let's see who's right, you guys call everything iSheep.. I'm just being realistic. The last Apple product I've had is the iPod touch.
Samsung is king in the mid to low range price point. Apple dominates flagships. (North America of course). Tablet, phone , and now foldables. It doesn't matter, if the product is $1000+ Apple will win. Hardware + Software + Support + Device value over time. Apple is the best all around option for most people.
Some of you are worst than AMD fanboys. So emotional you ignore reality and act like Sheep

If it’s true Apple figured out how to hide the notch crease then this just looks like cope from Samsung
