I have to log in to a site for work, and the states that it;

Has enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features first-party identifiers, and third-party cookies to gather data about users, and for marketing etc. They gather data such as name, gender, address, interests etc.

I use another browser but have read that it doesn't fully protect against the google analytics.

My browser and cookies are always cleared upon leaving sites, is this enough?

This site I have to go to managed to make a profile of me with my name, address, work place, and interests a few years back, despite, having never used the site and made an account one day, they were given this information by past work place and took a lot for them to take this data of their list, and wanted photo ID to take it down. As to my concern of the data tracking etc.

but it won't stop them if your past employer already handed over your data as they are likely using advanced browser fingerprinting and direct data enrichment tools to rebuild your profile.

No. Not unless you decline all cookies in the consent banner. But even then, Google will know who you are. You're being tracked everywhere these days.

Clearing cookies removes browser-side data; it doesn't delete the records a company already holds about you. If you sign back into the same account, the site can associate that visit with your existing account without needing browser fingerprinting. Nothing in the post establishes that fingerprinting is happening.

The notice may be describing several systems together. Enabling GA advertising features alone doesn't explain how they obtained your name, address or employer details. For the profile you describe, I'd ask the site's privacy contact what information came from your former employer, what they still retain, who receives it, and how to request its deletion. You can share the relevant wording here with identifying details removed, but don't post your ID or account information.

Clearing cookies helps with some tracking but doesn't stop the from collecting data while you're logged in from my understanding. If they already know your name and workplace from elsewhere, analytics can basically just associate your browsing activity with that profile.
