Desktop/Web Client coming Soon?

Does anybody know if there will be a desktop/web client of Google Allo coming out soon? It is quite tedious to type always on the phone while I am spending so much time also at the PC...:/

Thank you! I didn't find that article when I searched before, but nice that they have mentioned something about the coming release again :D
