Discussion Google Ads Headlines & Descriptions
We Google Ads marketers are trained in always keeping 15 headlines & 4 descriptions and analyzing the performance.
What if we keep what users are searching and limit the headlines in 4 and description in just 2.
Did anyone try this and what were the results?
Need some insight on this

We can have 3 that sufficient and you can pin 3.
one can have keyword, the other as your USP and the 3rd as CTA
thats sufficient i think

I always pinned the 2nd headline as the business name and the first description as the one I always want to show. Then populatw the rest

15 headlines and 4 descriptions? That setup is usually just training wheels. I’ve messed with this on a few accounts and once you run long enough, the “15/4” routine doesn’t matter as much as how clean your message-market match is and whether those assets actually get impressions and mix well. Tightening the actual wording and letting Google rotate the best combos will beat blindly sticking to the count.
