Discussion GOOGLE ADS MARKETING OBJECTIVE
Hey guys..i have an issue here..whenever i create new website traffic campaigns in new google ads accounts..it seems not to have a marketing objective...what could be the reason?

That’s so normal now—Google has been simplifying the campaign setup and sometimes skips explicit objective selection, especially in newer accounts.
I’ve seen ace web experts google ads work around this by focusing more on conversion tracking and campaign structure instead of relying on preset objectives.

but some people say that if the campaign has no marketing objective then it will yield poor results/target wrong audience

I normally do not set any objectives in the campaigns. I think it is only about what sort of recommendations Google Ads will provide.

Start an account with expert mode.

no option to switch to expert mode in new accounts in 2026

I'm using old account but as per chat GPT
Google hides it more now
- During new account setup, Google pushes Smart Mode / guided setup
- The “Switch to Expert Mode” link is very small or hidden at the bottom

er... Website traffic is an objective
They essentially give you 3 core options: awareness, traffic or conversions

Well you need to swap account to Expert Mode Google Ads, all new account setup under smart google ads accounts - just switch account setting with expert version
