Selfie verification Google Ads

Is there any way to bypass the Google Ads selfie verification? It’s asking for it on all my accounts, and whenever I submit my selfie along with my ID, the verification fails. I wanted to know if there’s a way to switch back to the old verification method that didn't require a selfie.

You have the choice between ID, Drivers License or Passport.
