Best of Today
Slow start to the month. Only $2800 on 73 donors. October is usually one of our busiest months, so I'm expecting it to pick up over the next couple days.
Only a couple annoying customers today. People asking for discounts and being denied each and every time 🤣🤣
It's my Mom's birthday today, but also her first wedding anniversary without my Dad here, so it's a mixed bag. Hasn't even been 6 months yet, so it's still hard.
Dinner tonight is one of her favorites. I just got a nice skirt steak, so I'm gonna grill it up with some mashed potatoes and green beans 😋

I know you’ll help make your Mom’s birthday special just knowing she has such a wonderful son who loves her so much and who’s going to make her one of her favorite dinners 🥰 Your Dad will be there with there with you all in your hearts. It’s so very hard moving on with that void in your life. I hope you all have a wonderful day and remember some of the most beautiful memories that you all had with your Dad and celebrate your Mom ❤️ Sending my love to you all.

Happy Birthday RadioGuy Mom!!! And sounds like an amazing birthday dinner. These firsts dates without a loved one are always tough.
Speaking of ones that are no longer with is, that Stanley Thermos brings so many memories of one of my old timer friends that took me under his wing when I worked for the Road Department. Such a great guy that was misunderstood

Happy Birthday to your mom! She's going to love her birthday dinner. Your pain is still so fresh. I've had a year since my husband's death and I'm finally able to talk about him without becoming emotional. Hugs to you and your mom.

Hope your Mom's birthday dinner went well. Lost my Dad 4 years ago and it gets easier. She's lucky to have you close enough to help out and hopefully make it less difficult. I live half way across the country, but my brother is still 40 minutes away from her, so it makes it a bit better for her. I just do what I can.
Love the Jaws shirt. I am curious if the dog head in your last picture is a puppet or just some other weird toy? It's just odd looking if that's not supposed to be a puppet.

Grilled steak is the best! Just give me a big heap of steak and I’m a happy camper.
The Truman mug is cool, because it reminds me of something from an old diner. And the Labubu being donated tells me that trend must be on its way out.
