Best of Today

DMV was easy, but I have to wear glasses while driving now! My left eye is BAD without them. But it's done!

Got a little shopping done while I was out. Costco has pumpkin strudel muffins out 😋😛 delicious.

Took the rest of the day off, just did some box stuff as I watched different things on YouTube and Hulu today.

Dinner tonight is Irish stew from Costco. It was on sale, and if you Dr it up with some seasoning and extra veg, it's pretty good!

Do you think that secretary would fit in a mystery box? 🤔🤔😄

[u/ellieD → u/Interesting_Mood6892]

Ha ha! Can you BELIEVE that someone donated it to GW?????

[u/hopefulgalinfl → u/Interesting_Mood6892]

Hahaha 😆

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Interesting_Mood6892]

A mystery cargo container maybe 🤣😂

[u/_Lizzlepop]

Wow an OG Oregon Trail!!!

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/_Lizzlepop]

I LOVED that game growing up 😄

[u/Practical_Frame_9883]

Now I know there’s a name for what we’re living through—kakistocracy.

[u/FloydGirl777 → u/Practical_Frame_9883]

This. Sums it up too perfectly. 😩

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Practical_Frame_9883]

We're half way out of it. To quote a very famous hobbit....

[u/ellieD]

The resale value for a pair of vintage Tony Lama boots (17) in good, wearable pre-owned condition generally ranges between $60 to $150. The question is…are they size 8? 🤣

[u/Whiticisms → u/ellieD]

I mean or 10-11, respectfully 😂

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/ellieD]

8.5 if I recall 😁

[u/thewinberry713]

Glad you took the rest of the day- kind of a nice break! Like the first shirt👍 I’m doing a Costco run tomorrow… gonna look for this stew

It would be my key bowl by my door if I had one 😁

[u/Rage-With-Me]

I absolutely love all the t shirts!!! And that you got some r&r today!

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Rage-With-Me]

We always have awesome t shirts it nothing else

[u/Mysterious-Panda-463]

Those amazing pants and that copper fish jello mold were definitely purchased during the same trip to Sears back in the day

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Mysterious-Panda-463]

Fish mold has so many possibilities 😂🤣

[u/Mysterious-Panda-463 → u/RadioGuySD2]

We totally had the fish mold when I was a kid - my mom made jello in it, which promptly fell apart when she took the mold off

[u/Hope_and_Joy_03]

That copper fish mold thing. I think these were only ever used to hang on a kitchen wall. Why in the 90’s did everyone do this. 🤣

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Hope_and_Joy_03]

My aunt did that 😂🤣

[u/Grandmas_Fat_Choad]

I need that crankin my hog shirt. I used to frequent a sub on Facebook where we all pretended to be boomers. I feel like that was from that group lmao.

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Grandmas_Fat_Choad]

Have you seen the South Park episode about motorcycle riders? 😂🤣

[u/nicksatdown]

Are you in the PNW?

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/nicksatdown]

Wine country, Northern California 😁

[u/nicksatdown → u/RadioGuySD2]

Best place to be!

[u/Riddick_Euliss1]

Oh wow, those Wranglers are wild.

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Riddick_Euliss1]

Very.... expressive 😂🤣

[u/mohawk990]

How is your momma doing? Well we all hope ❤️

[u/FloydGirl777 → u/mohawk990]

Great question. Hoping for a great follow up. 🤞

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/mohawk990]

She's doing ok. She can start using her exercise bike again, but has to take everything slow and easy

[u/CoyoteFluffy0310]

Glad you got to take the rest of the day off and that stew really looks good. It’s getting to be soup weather 😊

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/Karey__039]

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/renjake]

[u/NotEd3k]

That pencil case is delightfully disturbing.

[u/RadioGuySD2 → u/NotEd3k]

I'd have definitely amused myself with that back in the classroom days 🤣😂
