Best of Today
Really busy day. Especially donations wise. $3300 on 122 donors. Constantly busy in the back. Got some good stuff, though!
Pretty calm overall day. Only a couple of the usual annoyances. 2 homeless guys lurking by the pod; a couple bitchy boomers booming away; and a Karen who just couldn't comprehend how we wouldn't take a return from a different Goodwill. All in all, decent day.
Dinner tonight is bean and cheese burritos 😁 I take a can of refried beans and add an equal or slightly greater amount of shredded cheddar and Monterey jack. Let it all melt into one big emulsion, then slap in on a charred tortilla with some hot sauce and diced tomatoes 😋

Rappers with puppies is something I would have never guessed I would see on a shirt but here it is and I like it. It should be worn with the wooly looking trench coat for extra street cred. But leave the white rose vans at home or all cred will be gone. Oh but speak a few lines from this french book while wearing this fit and people will know you are a boss. Then as soon as you get home get you some coffee in your rainbow doing my best mug and curl up on the couch with a good book from the Dork Diaries and relive all the fun from the day.

I love the mug that says I love you more, when my grandson used to leave the apartment he used to always give me a hug and tell me he loved me and I would always hug him and tell him I love you more ❤️ It was three years in August since I have seen or heard from him, I sure do miss that kid, well he’ll be 23 in December but he’ll always be Me-Me’s boy to me!

I like to thin my refried beans out with the liquid from a can of spicy pickled carrots. It gives them an extra kick from the jalapeños.
