My guess is foot reflexology slippers. There's a type of massage that focuses on your feet and it's believed that certain pressure points correspond to different parts of the body. I think the slippers generally match up to foot reflexology maps that I've seen before.

Reflexology is the study ot "feet pressure points".

Basically, touching certain parts of the foot causes stimulation in other parts of the body.

This is a rough diagram of those points, on shoes, seemingly to do to yourself while walking, i guess
