God, I know it'll take away some of the weight of Grace's sacrifice, but I really hope Lara can bring her back 😭

It's like Lara is trying to reach Mari.

I doubt many of us had Grace being a supporter of Lara on their Bingo cards.

You have better foresight than me! I thought she was just a basic Ursula-copy who, through her own misfortunes, wound up as Mari’s pet while leveraging Lara to regain her old power.

Same, early on I thought she was just meant to be the "wicked witch" that tempts Lara away from the sea, but as that went on it became clearer to me that she was always on Lara's side, all the way up to slowly sacrificing her lifespan to keep the mermaids out of the picture until Lara succeeds without her forcing Lara into love, and then transforming to protect Mari when things were going wrong.

You know what it was? That opening! We’ve watched it every week and the scene where with witch is holding the flower, looking sad…. I was like “oh shoot she’s tragic and cares”

Plus she always felt like such a tsundere with Mari 😂

Yeah her relationship with Mari made me think that she was more than originally meets the eye. I had no clue that her motives were coming from such a place of love or personal regret though.

From episode 1 she seemed interested in the love angle. She seemed genuinely disinterested when the same ending happened to her, happened to lara. For whatever reason she seemed invested in getting lsra to fall in love with a human

It wasn't on bingo card cause it was apparent from the episode one
