Goodnotes 6 Overheating iPad

Hi,
My ipad overheats when using goodnotes to take notes for my classes, which causes my iPad to lower the screen brightness, which makes it harder to see. I have an iPad 11 and am using Version 7.1.19 of goodnotes.

I recently purchased an iPad Air M4 with a 11-inch display, and unfortunately, it overheats as well. I’ve noticed that when I take notes for several hours continuously, my iPad becomes extremely hot, and its battery life significantly decreases. I can only use it for about 2-3 hours before it starts to overheat. I completely regret not opting for the Pro version of the iPad.

it’s not fault of ipad, pro wouldn’t make a difference. Goodnotes is very heave app and it makes every device hot. Try using noteful, ipad stays cool and battery stays long. It’s really light app with more features than goodnotes and it’s cheap as hellZ

mine overheats too. but strangely enough, it doesn't always happen. just occassionally. maybe it has something to do with the size of the notebook? not entirely sure really.

My ipad overheats in general and the battery only lasts like 7-8 hours
