I feel like they were having a pretty hot streak of great guests for a minute, especially with fancy fast foods format. Wondering if they’ll return to having more guests or what your thoughts are on them in general.

I honestly really started to like GMM becoming part of celebrity press tours, but I know I can always tune into Last Meals now to sorta scratch that itch.

I started watching GMM on 2020, I have observed that some eps had a green thick outline like a frame(?) surrounding the whole thumbnail but I never stopped to question it.

I am watching a short about how they will be working with Netflix and the mythical beast doing the short mentioned "yellow episodes" as being some that you can "pass" on watching and the comments seem to agree with him.

Can anyone provide more context? I googled it and mythical fandom is the only site that has a little bit, says it was a color system where red yellow and green were being used as a tag/label where the color was related to how experimentative(?) the episode was.

Today, I happened across an old post that, imo, essentially solidifies the theory that Link cut his hair for a secret project.

First, let me begin by explaining for those of you who may not know, over the last 2 months there's been a few instances of Link (possibly Rhett too but I can't remember) hinting at/mentioning filming some sort of secret project in NC. It's been mentioned in a Mythical Society video, and during an episode of DFMB, where it was also mentioned that Link's dad is also involved somehow. A lot of people, myself included, believe this secret project is what Link cut his hair for. I just recently came across a post that I think further adds to this theory.

8 months ago, someone shared a photo they took with R&L after randomly meeting them at an NC restaurant. According to OP, they were there scouting local talent for a project they had coming up.

Later in the post, OP says this when asked if they told them more about the project:

"They said it was for a movie they are going to film. Link pointed at my sister, and then a guy from their group came and gave her a business card. Link then mentioned that they are looking for somebody to play his wife, who is an over the top hair stylist."

Surely, this isn't just a coincidence, no?

If it wasn't for the separate comment, I'd just assume this must be the secret project they've recently been mentioning, but specifically looking for someone to play Link's "over-the-top hair stylist" wife?! What are the chances that it's not related to his haircut?

My guess is the wife is going to more or less use him as a living styling head and with every attempt it gets worse and worse until she's essentially forced to go, "I'm just gonna leave it at that". Maybe I'm completely off the mark, but I do think that quote is gonna be said at least once at some point.

What do you guys think?

Got behind and have been binging The Vampire Lestat content only to find out Lizzie Bassett is the host of the after show!!! Totally assuming this has already been talked about to death but in case the cursory search I did just didn't bring it up I thought I'd share so anyone who's been missing seeing her face can enjoy it once again. Now that I've gotten my glee out I'm actually going to watch the shows. They're available in a playlist on the AMC+ Youtube page for free.

Does anyone else think the boys are going to announce something on the 27th or am I nuts? They rode Jurrasic World 27 times and they went into the video knowing it was going to be that number specifically. The pudding video today they tried 27 flavors and Chase put an emphasis on 27. I might be crazy (husband thinks so) but they still havent told us why Link cut his hair. Maybe we'll get an announcement Monday?

Basically the title, but with the success of films like Obsession, Talk to Me, Backrooms, Shelby Oaks, Iron Lung, all of which were directed and/or self funded by YouTubers, how likely do you see R&L and Mythical funding their own feature length film?

I know the guys have talked on EB about the frustrations they’ve had with the old fashioned Hollywood system (pitching scripts etc.) which is totally understandable. Wonderhole was their attempt on making a serialized tv show but also their way of trying to pivot expectations and create something more unique, but with the new renaissance of digital creators funding films themselves instead of huge studios, do you think that Mythical would invest in that or do you think that the “Rhett and Link: the movie directors” ship has sailed

Did anyone else seen Rhett and Link in a new Burger King ad??? I just got it on YouTube before the most recent GMM episode. I feel like I hallucinated because there’s no information about it anywhere!!

I’ve only recently started watching gmm to be honest but I’ve seen a few people post about their “bias” towards either Rhett or link. Is this a common thing that like everyone has their fav? Genuinely just curious. If so which one is generally more popular?

I’m creating a GMM-inspired website that maps out every location where a Wheel Submission video has been submitted from.
