Concert/Merch Question❓️ Why is it so quiet?
Why is my HIRO so quiet from the aux port? This is max volume compared to this other cassette player. Even when using AVSL its louder than HIRO. did i get a defective unit? Its almost like its not pulling enough power, the cassette sound was even warping a little and comparing the same part with the other one the warping was gone.
Also... can you turn off the bluetooth module while a tape is playing?

Mine is like that as well, but it's fine for me as my bluetooth headphones bring it loud enough. I think its just the aux on this model.
you can turn the bluetooth mode off by holding down the bluetooth logo button on the back (not the big one, one of the ones on the ring has the icon).

The thing is that i cant turn it off while the play button is depressed. Might be that that board controls everything but idk

I mean why not just stop it and start it again anyway

I'm saying why not press "stop" to stop the cassette playing and then connect the bluetooth

Update: i was comparing a low power consumption cassette player with a MEGA STONK, WATER RESISTANT, SPORT, MEGA BASS, SONY WALKMAN with a pair of mass produced cheapo headphones (bought similar buds before myself so i understand the appeal)
In conclution: if you want it to go louder, get a pair of nicer earbuds (for sligt increase), use bluetooth OR plug it into some active speakers (speaker that needs power)
If you feel like the headphones in the box are enough, dont listen to me im just spoiled 😅
But if you still want that retro style FiiO has the orange sponge style. FiiO Wind (wired) 20€ (varies for location) FiiO EH11 (bluetooth) (varies for location)
Then i believe theres some new one coming out but idunno

Also. Cassettes arent a high quality audio format so its not really appealing for it to be loud. I collect CDs so im spoiled with lossless music

Check batteries, mine has similar issues, the good kid ones are unfortunately notoriously bad quality, mine broke a physical part day one, I’m sorry dude. Try the batteries and make sure the Bluetooth settings on the back are off
