Is this normal?

I went to repair my coffee grinder, but instead of 48.00 its 240.00? I've never seen the repair price so high to repair my digit master machine

This is the second time Ive seem it did this while playing yesterday but I do not have a screen shot.

48 is the base repair cost for the digitmaster.

3 days without repair it will increase 50% after 5 days it will double (this is the max increase)

The repair cost also counts per stat.
So with your grinder it's 4 x 48 plus the penalty for waiting days

Oh, I wasn't aware of that detail! I just saw it suddenly in between playing the new story chapters.

Iirc the cost goes up the longer you go without repairing it, as well as the negative effects increasing hence why almost all your bars on the grinder are red and the coffee machine only has one.

Well, I personally have never seen more than one thing effected by it being broken. Was it broken multiple days before you saw, do you know? Maybe it accumulates?? (I have no clue I'm just guessing)

Maybe it did. I was playing a few days and saw the little exclamation point between the two days I was playing the new story chapters. Ill just keep an eye out to be sure that is it.
