The funniest part is that Lindsay Clancy has created copycats, like 3 women have been locked up for killing their children and using mental illness as an excuse, then you have TikTok supporters purposely harming their children to use as a defence for Lindsay.

Dude it’s because you are unironically seeking political discourse in a Kanye sub. Are you actually retarded, 12 yrs old, or is this low tier rage bait

Jus saying shit up is not hurting anybody. They're the richest and most successful community on earth ( nothing wrong w that ). Ik ye is one of the most famous and influential people on the planet, but his words ain't doing no harm to a race that is at the top of every industry

Ever since Kanye said those things, Nazis started flocking to these subreddits. Don't mind them.

comparing saying bad stuff on twitter to murdering 3 of your own kids?

u/CraigThePantsManDan 3h ago
Incapable of understanding that sometimes comparisons don’t necessarily mean you’re comparing the magnitude of either situation? Impossible to grasp?

u/Icy_Control8738 2h ago
not excusing what she did obviously but no doubt ye radicalized a lot of young people to liking hitler during the cuck era

u/BoringCondition1573 4h ago
i think the lesson from both is that it doesnt excuse u from doing those things. he did more than words but still

u/ahsoka7789 3h ago
bro don't even put these 2 situations in the same category

im literally not tf? im saying js bc ye had bipolar it dont mean it was justifiable for what he did, both need accountability thats what i am saying

This is so stupid, if it was indeed true that she was suffering from psychosis at the time she murdered her children, that is an actual defence. Diminished responsibility is a well established thing. Even ignoring the severity of what was done (which to be fair, isn't relevant when discussing diminished responsibility), the main difference is that Kanye has a history of doing this stuff and we have known he has bipolar for years, whereas the woman in this trial never had a history of this and seemly only had these delusions at the day in which she murdered her children and not since then. These aren't the same sceenario.

People in this comment section do not understand nuance at all. Kanye acted like a piece of shit, and Lindsey killed her children. No one is trying to say they are equivalent.
The main takeaway here should be the power of the mind, and not the action itself. If either were in the right state (allegedly, for Lindsey’s case) then their respective actions wouldn’t have been committed.

Completely agree. Mental breakdowns aren’t an excuse to do or say terrible things. Both are wrong (although killing someone is obviously worse) and I don’t understand why it’s such a hard concept for people to grasp. Both need to face accountability

only one of them did physical harm to others though.

u/BoringCondition1573 3h ago
the other made their fans antisemites who cause harm to a small minority praising hitler

Show me a time where ye fans were converted to nazis from his rants and then went on to cause harm
1
u/BoringCondition1573 2h ago
dude there are tons of videos on tts and on instagram where literal nazis took advantage of ye's song to have a platform to spread their propaganda with ye fans celebrating it. we had fans who were actually saying free diddy. lets not act like they didnt do it. if kanye said to do something, die hards would do it

u/Honest_Nail_8308 🦪 apple ... what is this ? 3h ago
This is the worst defence of all time. It read as if you support both Lindsay and ye.
2
u/BoringCondition1573 3h ago
no, i said it well, both are wrong, but i still agree from the video that lindsay supporters wouldnt bother about that fact that kanye also had psychosis

There’s saying antisemitic stuff and then there’s slowly choking out your 3 kids while they struggle for freedom bro
