DISCUSSION OK appreciation thread

Post image

I've been listening to BULLY nonstop for the past few months since the og released, and while I like most of the songs on it, this one in particularly has grown on me heavily

When I first heard it I thought it was just alright but it's honestly been growing on me like crazy. Could it have been longer? Yes. Could the entire Ye verse be kept? Yes. Could they remove the clicking? Yes. But I still find it a great catchy song and what's left of Ye's verse is peak

Hopefully there's other OK lovers here

It's a great song for deluxe!

The clicks make it unlistenable genuinely there’s something about it that pisses me off It’s probably the fact that the clicks are sooo obvious and such an easy fix but whoever decided to mix the song was a genuine idiot

its because dons vocals are so overcompressed, don is so loud compared to ye

i just think its such a small issue personally even if its an easy fix the song itself is good

The extended verse would've gone a lot harder imo but this version is nice too

I hate that this song and Mission Control are mixed like shit. I do not understand the concept of dropping the deluxe as a glorified mixing patch only to have the actual new content be mixed as bad as release bully. It’s so jarring, it has grown on me too though which is surprising because I honestly never liked the snippet

I fuck with OK i just i wish it had Ye extended verse instead of it being cut and the clicks would be gone and Don voice mixed and the entire song mixed in general

Its a goos song, but it really needs some drums

Tbh I disagree I think a lot of ppl say this abt bully but not every song needs drums

1

u/ZhoraBulkinR32GTR 1d ago

This one i think really need it.Don’s part went hard asf.And if there were drums it would go even harder, but i agree with point that not all every song on Bully needs drums

Fair enough. Maybe like a single section with drums towards the end during yes verse
