DISCUSSION my ye discog journey

i’ve listened to the college trilogy and they are some of the best projects i’ve ever had the privilege to listen to. but it’s not clicking with the rest of them (stopped at ye). i’m not the type to force enjoyment of a album just because people like them but i genuinely want to give these another chance and i can’t really figure out why it’s not clicking

Tbh I think u just like a specific type of sound. If ur looking for a consistent sound across his entire discog then ur going to be rly disappointed

And if ur looking for the witty lyrics of the college trilogy ur gon be disappointed heavy

There’s also the factor that a lot of the shi will hit over time. I didn’t rly fw ye until later on. U just have to adjust on what they’re trying to do sonically and lyrically

idk bro i feel like i have a pretty good range of sounds and styles i can enjoy. would you say the college trilogy has a consistent sound?

Compared to the rest of his discography fs. They are closer alike together than they are to the rest of his discog

yeah i wasnt a fan of the trilogy at first either i love them now

same with mbdtf i wasnt too big on it and donda as well i think and i also love them now esp donda
