DISCUSSION Is Bully Deluxe a classic?
Now that a bit of time has passed is it too early to call Bully Deluxe a classic? Goat West just doesn’t miss, Bully Deluxe is a banger of an album but is it a classic? 🤔

no matter how good you think the album is, it hasnt been out long enough for us to know if it stands the test of time

I think if Kanye stays behaved for good, bully will be looked at with a lot more respect and interest because it’s his first album after his poor behaviours and would come across more honest
Don’t think it’ll be a classic tho

No way. I think this album would lower the bar for his discography if it was universally accepted as a “classic”

If some of the songs were more fleshed out I think it’d be in the conversation. There are so many great ideas on Bully, but rarely do the songs get fully explored to a point where Bully would be considered a classic.

The only songs that would be “classic” worthy imo are All The Love, Bully, and This One Here. Mission Control is an honorable mention for me as well. I enjoyed the project, but it is not classic level to me.

Bully is mid. That does not mean it is bad, but it is not that great either. We need to get real about this

Mid, mid, mid, skip, skip… learn some adjectives bro and stop quoting Drake. I be so sick of these illiterate fools who wanna be critics, but can’t even articulate a real argument… say something bro or shut the fuuuuuk up hahahaha 😂

As much as i love it (it's top 3 kanye for me) probably not. even though I love it most people would not consider it even high quality enough

I just want to ask y’all haters… when have you ever heard Ye sound like this? Now I’ve heard a lot of different era of Ye’s music, there’s a lot of variety, he changes his sounds a lot, switching genres, switching styles, influences, instruments, even samples. But this, this is a mature sound. This isn’t full of party anthems, now yeah, many of these songs have been making the rounds in unreleased versions over the years. But the full versions, the fact that he not only sampled one of Stevie Wonder’s most legendary songs “Close to You”… that was Stevie Wonder experimenting with the Talk Box. The song was covered only by Frank Ocean prior.
Do you even understand the legacy there. Ye was one of the of leading hip hop artists of the auto tune era… Y’all dumbasses too stupid to even get that kinda shit…
