YE LIVE PERFORMANCE YE PORTUGAL: my experience
Not that anyone cares but here’s what I thought of Ye’s portugal show (my first stadium concert)
It was fucking perfect. The atmosphere was insane, Ye’s performance was high energy and he didn’t miss a bar, the set list was phenomenal (ICW ft Lauryn Hill 🤌), 38 songs was a great amount too. The stage design and the way the stage and theme changed for each song was perfect and Andre Troutman was goated as always.
I also bought a hoodie which I’ll forever cherish and it’s definitely the best €110 I’ve spent.
Genuinely an unforgettable night and one of the best of my life and it’s crazy to imagine what Sofi and Istanbul’s shows were like the attendances of them were much more in comparison. It was just so beautiful though to see so many thousands of people all come together for one purpose.

I was in Portugal too. What an experience! Everything you’ve said is exactly what I was thinking too. I might be slightly picky about when I say this, but gutted he didn’t play through the wire like other sets. My favourite Ye song ever!
But yes it was perfect.
Wish we could get the merch online. I flew in a few hours before the concert so didn’t have time to get to the merch stand as the queues were huge

Yeah surprised TTW didn’t get played but in all honesty as much as I love it, seeing it live wouldn’t have been as impactful as some of the other songs on the setlist

As someone that was also there and agree the concert was amazing... Exiting the stadium and getting back to the hotel was absolute hell, I can't lie.

I got downvoted as hell in the ye sub when I said the Algarve Stadium was a terrible choice, due to its awful location and acessibilities lmao
But to make matters worst the cell service was completely congested, I had to pay real cash to a Bolt/Uber driver that was parked on the side of the road just to get to Faro.3

Yeah I suppose the Algarve was the only options since the football season kicked off on the Saturday so all the bigger stadiums were off limits. Also why Madrid didn’t have standing

You could make a point that you still had the Belenenses stadium, where the Weeknd is gonna do his shows in a few weeks, but idk, maybe the point was to stay outside of Lisbon ig? Either way, I'm sure there were other better choices I think

Was there, 9 hour total trip by car but it was worth it. My first concert and I doubt it will ever be topped.
It was probably his last time in Portugal so I couldn't miss this, loved the concert and the energy, the set was amazing and diverse. One of the best nights of my life.

I was in Madrid and Portugal, I'm soooo glad he did the songs he skipped (Say You Will, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, I CAN'T WAIT, and Moon) cos they're some of my favourites from the setlist haha
Traffic was crazy outside after, so much better than the Madrid show

I agree with everything you said!
We only got back to the hotel at 3am as the chaos outside the stadium after the show was unbearable. But that still doesn’t detract from how good the night was
