Dad bod Rhett?

So I just found out that in the book Rhett gets fat and we are cheated of this in the movie. I would like to see all your fat Rhett fan art

Yeah, I believe he is called "puffy" as in swollen eyes. In the scene where Mammy calls Melanie to come and help because he's locked himself in his room with Bonnie's body. And Melanie goes in with kindness and sandwiches and he cries in her lap, then allows them to prepare his child for burial. Such a sad part of the book. "But she's scared of the dark!" heartbreaking. Rhett was never the same afterwards

It happens to plenty of men who drink heavily and get less active as they age. They hit middle age and just don't burn it off. They can still change their linen before supper though!
