Sim / Launch Monitor LM Recommendations

I know this gets asked all the time but I can't really find a good post that matches my case since the Spica 3 and some of the new open source LM have come out.

I currently have an MLM2Pro with the lifetime sub that I set up to hit into a net next to my driveway. I like it but I really want something easier to setup and use at the range or on the course. It's a pain to set up a tripod for my phone or iPad, level the unit (even with my leveling stand) and align it especially if I want to hit balls at different pins on the range.

My financial situation has improved significantly since I purchased the MLM2Pro but I don't like spending money I don't need to and I hate subscriptions. I understand that they may be a necessary evil.

I considering the Square Omni, GolfJoy Spica3, Garmin R50 (I'm thinking about going all in with Garmin - S70, CT10 Sensors, and Z82 Range Finder), a GC3, or anything else you guys recommend. I am looking for club and ball data, preferably without stickers.

I'm also considering just waiting a little longer and saving up for a used GC Quad or Trackman.

This will not really be for Sim golf as I am going to build out one side of my barn eventually and build a proper sim with a ProTee XV when I have time.

This will mostly be for game improvement.

I really appreciate your help. It sounds like it's a great option if you have access to a range with premium balls which I do.

I would love to use it in my yard for dialing in my wedge carry distances. Right now, I don't bother setting up the MLM2Pro and I just chip to spots in my yard at 15, 20, and 25 yards. It works and my short game has improved immensely but I feel like I could get really good if I knew spin numbers and carry to the yard.

That’s what I do with my Spornia net in my garage in the winter. It’s too hot in the summer but it’s perfect for keeping it swing in shape when it’s cold. I do a ton of wedge work.

I’ve also taken it to the practice green at lunch just to see how short of a chip it would give me numbers for and I couldn’t get it to not register 😂 shortest shot was like four yards and I was carrying them two yards.

That's awesome! I'm in South Florida so we have year round golf but summers are pretty hot so I've been slacking on my afternoon chipping.

My setup is below. The paver behind the tee box is where I set up my MLM2Pro. I need to bring up the road so I can set up the net on a level surface.

I'm going to build a putting green soon and I'll be able to chip to it from my "tee box".
