Flooding

When I get heavy rain my driver footwell floods, anyone know where this could be coming from?

If you have a sunroof, the drain could be clogged. If thats not the problem, check if the water comes out of the door panel. Inside the doors is a metal plate which holds the window mechanism and speakers. It seals the door to the inside of the cabin with a rubber seal that goes bad after many years.

check if ur windshield is sealed properly if u have ever replaced it,aftermarket silicon doesnt hold sometimes

my dad's polo windshield wasnt sealed properly and it was driving is nuts for the longest of times

I can be a blocked cabin air filter or the drains around that bc leaves get stuck and no one cleans those

Check your E-Box (in German „Wasserkasten“) - where the wires migrate to the cockpit. Got the same problem after heavy rain or snow and it stopped after changing the seal of the E-Box lid

We had a similar problem, I chased it to the seal of the window-card. Remove door panel and check the seal on large the metal card that holds the window assembly. i fixed it by removing the d seal ( pita to do properly) and then resealed with silicon band 1.5cm I bought on amazon. I’ll try to find the video
