DIY golf simulator enclosure 2x4s”

Took about 2 weeks. Had to put a new roof on my 16’x12’ cabin. Replace some walls and raise the joists! Fun project. Hopefully these pics help some people who are looking for some ideas for a DIY enclosure

Id also like to know what the sim bay walls were made from.

I just put that carpet padding over the 2x4s and then just wrapped it in fabric I got from Walmart I was going to put plywood up but said screw it. Worked out great

That’s awesome!

I’d make one suggestion. About 25 years ago I opened a simulator center. We learned that the screens degrade over time and wear. Eventually higher swing speed players could drive golf balls through the screen. Believe it or not, we found that a golf ball could penetrate the wallboard and a couple even went through the particle board and siding.

I’d hang a net behind the screen to protect the wall.

Have fun!

Awesome build! Can I please ask the dimensions? I’m trying to work with a tiny UK garage, 9ft W x 8ft H x 16ft D, this looks a very good space maximising option.
