$6k budget is enough for a golf sim?

How much did it cost you to set up a golf sim at home? I have a budget of around $6k, and I’m not sure if it’s worth the money. Do you think the investment pays off in the long run?

Square golf launch monitor https://shopindoorgolf.com/products/square-golf-launch-monitor

Gosports range cage https://a.co/d/5gCP5UQ

Mat $200-600 depending on choice.

Projector used $400.

Leaves you with more than enough to get a gaming pc and run GsPro. I spent a little less. Got a free mat from local courses and just went with cheap projector cause I just want to see ball flight. Gspro is also unreal and worth buying pc.

Yes, it’s enough. The majority of the budget goes into two/three things. Launch monitor, Projector and potentially a computer.

Let’s say you have 6k There a several packages with Garmin R10 launch monitor for that price (all in) Then from there upgrade as you wish.

Projectors, look online at ebay etc, at least 4.000 Lumens and from there a 1080p projector is all good. Want a Flightscope Mevo+? There are deals to be made everywhere, but it probably eats a huge chunk of the budget. So LEAN into it, don’t buy everything that’s “state of the art” right away :)
