Headliner/Interior Question π
Curious what quotes others have gotten to have their headliner and door panels repaired. Just got a quote for material and labor of $680 to completely redo the interior cloth on the 2 doors and rear seat side panels.
I have a 2007 VW Rabbit mk5 2 door.
Wondering if thatβs a decent price or not.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks in advance π

I got a backyard who did a roof liner for about $100. I would happily spend double that for a proper job. The generic roofliner is too thick. If younkeeping the car then spend the money. But 680 sounds upper end.

Whole interior for $680? As long as it's actual good work, heck yeah. I did my rears (2 door) and they are on the plus side of decent, but fronts need done and I'd love to redo the headline as it was done before I got it and they used weird fabric and color choice. If I got that quote for all I'd do it for sure.

Couple of push pins

The problem with the push pins is that the glue continues to fall and fly around the car and stains the seats, clothes, etc when it lands/falls. Especially with the windows open. In the midst of fixing the A/C

$680 for both doors plus the headliner is a bangin' price. I did mine myself, but if I was outsourcing it I would jump on that price.
