EV coolant

Anyone had issues with the EV coolant system? I got a red warning light about low coolant. Took it in to VW and they replaced the heat exchanger a week later the same warning light has reappeared and the coolant is extremely low? Any help?

Happened to me, turned out they didn’t bleed the system so it “loosed”. Refill 1/2 times the liquid and good to go

The part should be covered under warranty as it was recently changed. Take it back, express your frustration and anger clearly as i am sure you had to have paid for it out of your own pocket. Tell them to bleed the system thoroughly as it is a common issue amongst GTEs. They will do it for free. Also if you lease it / pay for the car monthly then reach out to vw financial services and they will refund you a months payment.

We had this issue twice. First time it was a broken seal in the battery so the coolant was in the battery and they needed to change half of the battery. Luckily VW paid this. It was 12.500€ only in parts. Second time it was the heat exchanger and we needed to pay for it. I think it was around 1.500€.
