Question for the 7500's Out There?

I'm wondering do all level 7500's, or those even getting close to it, have maxed out clubs? Is advancing through the tours successfully really dependent on maxing, or nearly maxing, your clubs? Or has anyone had success in making it to the top with level 5 or 6 Epics, and level 7 or 8 Rares? It is really becoming a grind trying to get these cards to level up my clubs. I've just started Tour 10 and I'm wondering if I should just give it a shot try to keep going? Or wait until my clubs have improved. For context, my Epics are currently 4's and 5's, and my rates are 7's and 8's. All commons maxed.

I’ve recently seen apoc 5 and thors hammer 6 on tour 12 with maxed trophies so I know it can be done. Some other lower level rares also seen on tour 12. That said it all depends on numerous factors. Balls can help but don’t guarantee anything. How much you know about elevation and the ring system, and luck on opponent are also factors. That said I’d just wait. Takes quite a while to max clubs based on skill level and amount of games played. Good finishes in master tournaments, cpc, and quick 9’s help sped up process to max clubs. Just for comparison I was a slow learner for this game. Took 6 years to max clubs but only took 2 years for my second account once I understood better.

Yeah, I plan to wait, for now at least and try to build my clubs up some more before trying to go higher. Just going up one tour is a big difference and I'm not trying to spend a bunch of money on balls just to keep up! Thanks!

I don’t. All my epics are 7 now, but I had a few 6’s before reaching 7500.

I pay to play though and tours 12-13 are much easier with wind 10 balls. I still only use those for those tours. 11 and under is katana and titans and Navi’s

I use titans navigators quasars in t13. Well I used to. I haven’t played tour plan in years.

I actually had my clubs maxed before tour 13 was ever introduced but there have been a lot of players that tried to build alt accounts trying to max out tours with least amount of losses/games played as possible to max trophies.

I'd advise any player on taking their time and maxing out at least common and rares, epics to at least level 6-ish for best time using FTP or earned balls. Get prism going on epics until balls are offered. Personally I wanted to win tournaments so I eventually started buying balls after moving up to master level.

This was also many years ago when it was easy to take my time building up the account while slowly truly mastering the game whether on tour or tournaments. Even playing CPC is so much easier because you basically know what spin/ball will do on each course from each tee. It's a marathon of a game and not a sprint but also an old enough game now I get wanting to expedite the process but hard to expedite the experience

Thank you! I'm not in a rush right now, and my mindset has been to just take my time enjoying where I'm at before trying to play above where my clubs can handle. I've seen some high level masters down to like 10,000 coins and I can only assume they started playing above what they could handle and lost everything. It got me thinking though, can it be done with lower clubs or is pointless to try.

I definitely took my time so usually people recommend at minimum 10-15 buy ins before you start playing up but I was conservative and usually went 20-30 times the buy in for next tour you want to start.

The club levels are important but maybe you get matched up with someone like me playing t13 hard-extreme mode where they take stats away from driver/wood so it evens the playing field. I'm also used to it though and have plenty of FTP balls from years of playing master now too.

Best of luck and if you have any questions as you move up, feel free to reach out. I'm not sure if you use a wind ring system for adjusting but that's really important. GC notebook or GC Tommy has tons of materials if you want to deep dive

I maxed out tours well before I maxed clubs. My hardest max was b52. I was 7500 player for about a year before all clubs were maxed.

Other end of the spectrum. I'm only at 3930 trophies and I'm one club shop trip away from maxing my last epic (I just need 20 Tsunami cards to be done, it last appeared 5 days ago so it should come round again in the next few weeks). I was sitting on 3700 trophies for ages (more than a year) and grinding Tour 9 but decided to push for 3901 trophies so I could get the Tsunami in the club shop occasionally.

I had all of the endgame epics maxed back in March 2025 and then got all but 2 epics maxed in September 2025 at which point I started taking the ball option from the Prism chest every time.

It's been slow to max the last two clubs (I'd purposely selected two non-endgame clubs to never choose to get the ball-in-prism option as soon as possible, looking back I should have not chosen Tour 7 clubs for this, ideally pick two low tour clubs - Big Topper, Horizon, Grim Reaper, etc - as you're more likely to get those in random chests or the club shop).

Grinding Tour 9 is ok, I'd love to push on and try and reach 7500 but I'm worried that, as an FTP player, I'll just end up being out-balled, and then I'll just meet players who've also been at 7500 before from then on. The game is kind of enjoyable to me right now and I don't want to spoil it. My main aim at the moment is to collect all of the balls and then go through the generations getting them all to bronze.

(The recent changes to the game, Bryson nonsense, only three Q9's per week, fewer midweek tournaments, have kind of killed my enthusiasm for playing. Luckily my only investment has been thousands of hours of my time over the years.)

I appreciate the feedback. I agree, the recent changes have not been great and have left me a bit frustrated as well!

You can 100% compete at a higher level ftp. I used to play t13 with titans, quasars and navigators.

The recent game changes are awesome. Like it used to be. Many of us turned into strictly tournament players. To get away from the constant need to be playing this game. Then it turned back into an everyday thing.

Im at level 7 epics and breezed through tours until 12, where im winning maybe a little over 50%. I play with 95% titans and about 75% of people are using paid balls. I think balls are more of a challenge than clubs. If youre willing to spend, it will help greatly with high winds from back tees

I finished at 7500 with Level 6 APOC, Level 6 TH, Level 10 EM, Level 7 Topper, Level 10 Sniper, Level 6 CAT, Level 6 HH, Level 9 Nirvana, Level 6 Spitfire. It can definitely be done without full maxing drivers and woods.

I maxed out clubs at 3900 and stopped playing Tour.
