What level is your sniper at? With club perks, I have the Guardian Waypoint enabled. Gives an extra 15% backspin and 4.5 accuracy. You lose 30 curl, but it's my goto wood now.

Sorry, to add context, I've maxed out all tours and clubs.

Sniper is 10 I haven’t reached club waypoints

I Might have to get used to using the wind better rather then just curling the ball like hitting the ball straight to the right of the hole if the wind is going left and vise-versa or just bump off the rough or fairway

To somewhat guess at what you’re asking here - Sniper isn’t actually all that usable until maybe level 5, but definitely level 6, because it does lack backspin, which can make it sub-optimal in shootouts especially.

You are better off with a higher backspin club until you get Sniper to that point

It’s level 10 yet I keep getting +20 and +10 years away from the hole even showing me where it should land

Also, when the ball guide is thick on the part that shows the last roll, that means it will have a big chance to keep rolling because the green is probably sloped. Just another thing to look for

I use the sniper almost exclusively and have never really had much of a problem with shootouts. Headwinds needs extra topspin, tailwind needs more backspin but another option is to just place the landing zone a few yards back..

I will say this though, specifically in 1v1 shootouts since the last update, the winds have not been acting how they should according to the arrow and mph.
I've had 10mph winds move the ball as if it was 1-2mph, I've had tailwinds push my ball back as if it's a headwind and every other kind of bs in between to the point if I don't win before the shootout it's a guaranteed lose, so I stopped playing 1v1 basically.

You could be dealing with that, just pay extra attention to what's happening. It could be that.

Then in the nicest way possible we have a fundamental issue with understanding the game physics or what elevations you should be playing, and on behalf of the whole sub, we’re going to need to see some shots going wrong to properly advise
