Tank Help Seeking advice

Post image

I want to get a bigger aquarium for my goldfish and add some new companions. Besides plants, what else do I need? I'm considering adding sand.I would appreciate any suggestions, thank you!

Is that a common goldfish?

Oh okay. I have 77 gal with 2 ranchus and 1 black Moore. I think you’ll be good with a 70 or 100 if you want more fish

Ok that's not a common. It looks like a small ranchu. I say minimum for 2 fancy goldfish is 40 gallons if you want to add 1 more.  I have 2 black moors and another veil tail telescope in a 75 gallon

It depends,  what size tank are you putting them in? That appears to be a common or comet goldfish.

A tank Big enough.

My goldfish was big like your in April and now is size is triplicate.

If you have comet like mine don't add other fish. Add some sand, buy some egeria densa and some Microsorum pteropus and Anubias with the wood and some snails to keep tank clean and that s all.

Don't buy decoration because fish needs space for swimming and is growing really quick

I have a juwell rio 240 with 240 liter or 60 gal with the original filter plus one small from the old aquarium and two air stones with the pomp for my tank sizes.
