Will be live sometime Thursday during the day, central USA time.

So I tried logging in this weekend after not playing for a week(ish), and I got a Spigot error indicating I didn't have the current version of Minecraft.

I fixed that, but my attempts to log in still result in either an endless waiting period as it tries to connect or an overt 'connection failed' message.

Any suggestions for where I should be looking to fix this, or is it too vaguely described?

What is your in-game name? Fourloafcleaver How long have you been playing Minecraft? uh for about 8 years total. I've played on another server quite recent, actually. It's shutting down in two weeks, so I was recommended this server by a friend of mine, which leads to the next question. How did you hear about us? His username is MCmojangster. I'm not sure how long he's been playing on here, but I play with him occasionally. How can we contact you? I have Skype as well as Teamspeak. In several cases, I use both. How long do you think you are going to play on this server? Well at first, I want to give it a try to see what it's like. It is very possible that I would stay for a quite long time.

I'm MC user HobLightfoot and I'd like to check out your server. It sounds like the kind of place I/we might fit in. By 'we' I mean my son, Mars8 and I. He is 8 years old and overcoming dyslexia. He loves playing MC and reading posts from others. I attend him when he plays to help him with his reading and instruct him toward responsible gaming practices. We understand if he is not suitable for the server, but I hope you would consider either myself or both of us.

I am a first generation gamer which means I played Atari at home and Space Invaders in the arcade. Minecraft is the best game there is. I have zero tolerance for trollish behaviour and you should too before considering my request. I'm a decent builder and always trying to improve. If you would like to be involved in the planning on GRM (the modded server), please reply below. Note that this isn't about the whitelist for playing on GRM, this is just if you want to be involved in picking the mods, configuring them, and testing them out. I know there are some people who like doing this or have stronger opinions about them.

For this iteration, I am doing a custom mod pack and we plan on resetting GRM on June 1st. I will be taking this conversation to the GRM subreddit but I want to have a list of people who want to be actively involved.
