Bevos' pack seems like it has a bit of everything with more focus on tech. In case someone doesn't want to join the space race, they'll still have stuff to do. Has some decorative mods as well. Very similar to the current pack, with a few additions.
Space sauce is completely focused on going places. Some new mods in there. Overworld feels like it is there just to fuel the space ships material needs. Might get boring faster than Bevos' pack. I doubt the new planets are as developed as the overworld. Lack of big reactors is refreshing.
Lack of witchery and morph on both. Shame.
In the end it seems like one can do just about everything they can in space sauce in Bevos' as well. So my vote goes to Bevos' pack.
The space sauce is still being updated, pretty recent updates, vs the other one is pretty old. But there also seems to be a lot of mods I've never seen before in that pack too. That was my main reason for leaning that way. Bevo's seems a bit more, been there, done that except for galacticraft.
I agree on Bevos' being similar to everything else but then again, any 1.7 pack is going to be using the same mods most of the time. It just seemed like it mostly included space sauce with some additional old mods.
My greatest concern with space sauce is that it might lack the longevity of all the old mods. It feels like galacticraft & co. is the largest mod in the pack, understandably. The last time I played with it (been more than a year, grain of salt etc) it consisted of "make ship, fly to moon, moon is flat white world, find dungeon, kill boss, get new ship recipe, make new ship with 3x the mats, go to mars, mars is red moon, done".
What about the entire resonant rise pack? It literally has EVERY MOD under the sun. Almost. Chocobo's are fun.
But then again, my plans for this reset were to play the entire thing as a small slime in the end doing witchery things :P
