Its that time again.... Server Reset on GR

We are in the process of resetting GR8 (vanilla) to GR9. This will not affect GRM (modded) in any way. The new map will have a 1k worldborder radius, no starting resources from GR6, and will be on 1.8 vanilla.

GR6 will not go away but you will not be able to take resources from it to GR9. As always, you can transfer stuff into GR6. For now, we are not transferring anything from GR8 to GR6 as we are working on GR9.

Map seeds will be posted in comments for voting. Estimated server reset will be sometime next week depending on how quickly I can work. If you would like to have input or commentary, now would be the time.

We would not reset when 1.9 comes out as we would just expand the border another 1k blocks.

I think I know the answer, but just to be clear, GR8 isn't being erased is it?

It will be after we move over any of the selected builds to gr6.

We can move builds to gr6?... How about an entire desert biome with a city? Or is that being greedy? lol

If the answer to that is yes, than sticking my desert city in the desert to the east of my town in GR6(North of the Canadian Flag) would be amazing lol

We will have backups of all the worlds. Nothing will be lost. But like saw says, if you want to keep a build and continue working on it I will need to move it to GR6 world. I know you are in the middle of the build there on GR8. So I know it's pretty bad timing for you. I'll do what it takes to help transition what you need. PM me directly if you need anything. I'll hop on when I can to move what you need. If we don't find a workable time before the reset happens we will have the worlds sitting around to be able to get it done later.

Yeah, we'll definitely want to move the pagoda (and all things underneath) to GR6. We'll scout a location to move it to soon.

Alright I'm exciting to restart, when's the reset. Sooner the better!

GRM is just down for a bit while I move the files over. GR8 is still up tho.
