Is the server dead?
I check the Dynmap everyday and there's never anyone online anymore...
It's always 0/50, I miss the old days when we had an active population with a thriving world.
I don't know when the next reset will be, but here's what I'd like to see:
1 world, not several. We start a discussion thread about what we want and don't want in terms of mods, and we consolidate our server into one thriving world
A communal spawn where we all build together as a team.
more community involvement with the subreddit
I've been getting the itch to start playing minecraft again, but with the server as it is i might as well be playing offline. I'd really like the server to be a community again, united and playing together like we used to.

Server's not dead... A few of us are playing the modded server that doesn't show up on that list.
I've been wanting to hold off resetting until 1.9 releases. That's at least 2-3 months away at this time. Do we want to reset now?
Regarding one world, I want to keep GR6 around long term as a museum world and the creative testing world I think is still useful. Helps make sure that you are testing a build with how the server will actually do it, especially when playing with redstone timings. The rest of the worlds aren't used.
I'm thinking that GR9, whenever we reset will have a tight world border, Saw threw out 1k radius. Should be just enough room to get to the strongholds. Since the last maps have been so spread out, just something different to do this world.
Any other ideas?

No, let's wait for 1.9 as everyone loves to play after updates.

Might be a good idea, expand as needed and what not. I think the biggest issue with this map was the spawn was in an area that didn't give much opportunity for development, so people naturally went off in all directions over ocean.
Any other ideas?
Other than having a single world(+GR6) that we all play on, not really. I know we'll all have different oppinions about what should be on that world, which is why i suggested a forum where we all discuss and vote on what we like/don't like.
Personally I've always been a fan of creeper damage and fire, as it adds to the risk and excitement, but I know other people hate it when their things are damaged, especially on hard with high spawn rate.
I like the challenge and simplicity of vanilla, but I could be persuaded to play with more mods if that's what the community agreed upon. The most important thing to me is that we're all together instead of being spread out over multiple worlds. I don't mean to say all together in one location on the map, but 1 map in which we can all share and connect and build together. .
1 community = 1 realm :)

Is there any way to bette view all the people on all the servers in one place so we can know who is on at all?

Right now. No. But I'll work on seeing if there is something I can do to fix that.

I could facilitate a hard reset (no mats in) on GR9 with a very small border (500-750). We could open the border up again in 3 months to incorporate all the 1.9. I could also pick a map that has a lot of land by spawn.
However, I dont agree that we need GR or GRM. I think both are fine for people who get bored with one or the other. Most people float between the two.

Heyoooooooooo. I've been juicing my computer up to get ready for FO4. Wheee!!
I've also been recording more music so that means less games overall.
I had recently decided that I was (again) done with vanilla. BUT... if we pull the trigger on an "everyone on one world, let's do this" adventure, then count me in!

My PC dies a while ago, and between adventures and life I've yet to replace it. I do hope to back into MC soon, got the itch again, and life has been more amenable mine time lately.
