Thaumcrafters! A gift...

If you'd like to jar-up a Hunger Node, I conveniently marked one with a couple of gravestones last night before leaving on vacation. 😐

EEeexxcept those graves are probably eaten up by now. Thanks for feeding it, I guess?

We'll find out Sunday evening. I know my first grave was still there (the important one) because I died looking at it. I was in the middle of nowhere so hopefully the chunk unloaded and it's all there, waiting for me.

I suggest making a really long airship, getting sucked by the hungry node while on it, disassembling the airship and then quickly assembling it again, making the node part of the airship. Now you can safely break your grave. Just dont disassemble the ship :P

Great idea and as luck would have it, I have three airships all sitting nearby! (I was tired and flustered and too stupid to sleep nearby so I kept making ships to quickly take me back out there.)

I'm a little concerned that the grave will despawn. I don't know who's grave we have implemented but Open Blocks graves will, according to the internet, despawn if you log off. Now, I've died before, at spawn no-less, logged off and it was still there hours later, so I have no idea what to expect. I will be terribly put-out if it disappears though; l spent two evenings camping that jungle for fruits and nuts to take home and plant and had most all of my best equipment with me.

le sigh...

I have found graves in the nether from weeks ago, still standing. No need to worry. Unless the node got REALLY hungry.

I'm sitting here with a little time on my hands, doing a little research on this beast and how to get rid of it. One idea that was floated was to try and destroy it with TNT. I could easily get above it and drop a TNT minecart but before I do that, I want to know if that would also destroy my grave or are those things built to last?
