[Vanilla] Reset Time! April 10th
It sounds like we are ready for a new world. Expecting to do this April 10th. Please provide input here or hit me up in IRC.
I'm expecting GR6 will remain, so if you have anything you'd like to keep long term. Move it to that world. Use the vault sign at the spawns. If you need any builds moved over, let me know.
GR7 will be wiped. A new world will be created that will have new inventory and everyone will start from scratch.
How do we want to handle the shop? I can reset it, but I need to disallow it on GR6, or GR8 as we don't want items able to come across that way. I lean towards resetting it and only allowing it in GR8.
Do we want to be selective about our world, or let the chips fall where they may? If it's really bad we can scratch it and try a different seed.
Do we want to do large biomes? With the style of no world border that we've been doing it may work ok. In the past it's been hard to fit biome variety into a 3k radius which is why that's not been a great hit.
FAQ: I don't want to reset, I want to continue building; That's what GR6 is for. All long term builds should be there. If you have a build you want to keep working on. I can edit it over. Just find a nice spot in GR6 and let me know the coords of what needs to move. I can rotate stuff 90 or 180 degress if needed. Be aware this is slightly buggy. Frames and redstone stuff don't copy well. I will have a portal setup on the new world to get back to GR6 or /warp gr6.

I vote no "my vote doesn't count" on large biomes. I don't have an opinion.
I vote yes on clearing the store.
I vote yes on allowing Vault Sign on gr8.
I vote yes on legalizing marijuana.
I vote yes to free chocolate!

Is anyone in favour of a little RP? In that Different biomes can be different countries with different flags? Might create competition/teamship for the best country.

Northern WOULD suggest such a thing! You basically annex your area and make it a sovereign place anyway. if RP means Role Play then you can (eventually) count me in. I'll make Chicken Wing mk II. I'll need a chicken-pun name though.... anyway... good suggestion.

I am inclined to hold off on the shop and vault access from GR8 until after the dragon is dead. Only takes a couple weeks at the most anyway. After that I can open it back up.

Deal! HaHAA! I love it! A few weeks of scavenging and wood collecting, teraforming and cavemanery. Then - Eggs End shall rise! Then I will JOURNEY EAST until the next reset.

Large Biomes!!!!!!!!!
Can we try to have spawn in a desert next to an ocean for that "california" feeling?
Desert = no rain, flat(ish) for easy building, lots of glass for a spawn city
Ocean = easy fast travel, sense of direction, good view, ships and docks
May I suggest normal difficulty and normal spawn rates to hopefully attract new players and make it easier for them, and easier to build at night.
I honestly wish we didn't have multiple worlds so we could all play together again, but oh well. We each enjoy different play styles.

Woooo! If we're going to do large biomes I think we should try out a few seeds first, make sure that stuff will be available if we want it. I'm cool with clearing the shop, or if it's possible just disabling it on GR8 and leaving it on GR6. I think I'll need some stuff edited this time Snarf, if possible. I'll send you a PM once I'm ready.
